Field Technician - Commercial Construction; Omaha, NE

Field Technicians work in new and commercial buildings doing installations, curtain wall insulation, waterproofing, joint sealants, air barriers,fireproofing, fire stopping, expansionjoint, and perimeter joints. They will report to the siteforeman(temporary role, but not a fulltime position),General Foreman or the Superintendent and use knowledge to execute projects to specifications.

• Install fire stopping at walljoints, slabedgeand penetrations
• Installjoint sealants at interior finish locations, building exterior and exterior paving conditions
• Installsheet and fluid appliedwaterproofingsystems
• Install sheet and fluid applied air barrier systems
• Install interior and exterior expansion joint systems
• Utilize basic hand tools as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Working knowledge of basic tools and materials
• Comfortable working at various heights
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• History of good attendance and reliability
• Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively with limited direction and supervision
• Working knowledge of commercial construction jobsite safety rules
• Construction experience preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with caulking, waterproofing, insulation, fire stopping, or similar trades is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent
