Apprentice Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Electricians for projects located in or around Omaha, NE. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Assist with electrical installations in residential apartment buildings
• Pull and run electrical wire and cable
• Assist with panel installations, wiring, and terminations
• Install and connect electrical devices, fixtures, outlets, switches, and related components
• Read and follow electrical plans, blueprints, and job specifications
• Measure, cut, and prepare wire and electrical materials
• Assist journeymen electricians with rough-in and finish electrical work
• Perform material handling and keep the jobsite organized
• Use hand and power tools safely and properly
• Follow all OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other electrical apprentice duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous residential electrical experience preferred
• Ability to pull wire and assist with panel work
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must be able to commit to the project for the long term
• Ability to lift and move electrical materials as needed
• OSHA 10 or other safety training is a plus
