Installation Technician, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
- 5+ years of electrical inspection or related experience
- Fundamental electrical installation knowledge
- Experience in a similar Electrical Inspector (EI) or related role
- Heavy industrial construction/project experience
- Ability to verify installations against drawings and specifications
- Experience with electrical terminations and quality inspections
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Turnover and commissioning/startup support experience
- Walk construction areas with discipline leadership to inspect electrical work
- Verify electrical terminations and ensure proper wire installation
- Review field operations and installations for compliance with drawings and specifications
- Support turnover activities from construction through startup/commissioning
- Perform quality inspections and documentation related to electrical systems
- Coordinate with field teams to address installation discrepancies
- Focus heavily on turnover processes and readiness for startup
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Inspector and Turnover Specialist for a leading industrial construction client. This individual will play a key role in ensuring electrical installations are completed accurately and meet project specifications as the project transitions from construction into startup and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy industrial environments, a keen eye for quality, and experience verifying electrical terminations, installations, and field operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project, work closely with construction leadership, and support critical turnover activities that help bring major infrastructure online.
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
