What You’ll Be Doing

As an In-Home Family Services Specialist, you’ll work directly with families to help them overcome challenges and build skills for long-term success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing in-home support and teaching practical skills to strengthen families.
  • Connecting families with community resources such as schools, healthcare, and social services.
  • Offering crisis intervention and guidance when needed.
  • Building strong relationships with families and collaborating with professionals like teachers, doctors, and social workers.
  • Developing service plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Education & Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 1 year of experience working with children and families.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Duties are performed in a variety of environments ranging from highly stressful and potentially aggressive to casual and leisurely, in both indoor and outdoor settings.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to outside weather conditions and may be required to visit homes with substandard living conditions and domestic pets.
