Support Those in Crisis – Make an Impact as a Crisis Counselor in Omaha, NE!
Starting Pay: $17.50–$18.50/hr (plus shift differential if applicable)
Part‑time / Full‑time: Both available
Shifts: 24/7 hotline—shifts may be available throughout the day.
At least one weekend day is required for all counselors. Some holidays will be required as well (at 2x pay).
Location: This is NOT a remote position; the hotline center is located at 144th and Pacific/Dodge in Omaha, NE.

- Respond to calls, texts, chats, or emails from people in crisis
- Provide short‑term counseling, de‑escalation, and problem‑solving support
- Offer referrals and resources when necessary
- Accurately document interactions and maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s preferred; required for some programs)
- At least 21 years old
- Computer literate, able to take notes while talking to callers
- Sedentary office work with standard computer use
- Minimal physical risks in a typical administrative setting
