REQ-Supports, coordinates, and participates in Family Home Operations. Oversees proper implementation of scheduling practices and program implementation.##
Work Schedule:
Full Time 8am - 5pm##
** MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:**##
** Provides safe and effective services*** ## Adheres to policies related to safety and boundaries with service recipients.* ## Attends safety and abuse risk management training as assigned.* ## Adheres to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising service recipients.* ## Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.* ## Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements.* ## Adheres to policies and procedures related to Medication Administration for service recipients.##

** Facilitates Family Home Programing Implementation*** ## Ensures safety in accordance with policies and procedures including youth safety, outings, and reporting guidelines.* ## Provides on-boarding activity oversight for Family Home Program.* ## Oversees projects and staff as directed by Family Home Administration.* ## Engages in all aspects of Family Home Program as directed by Administration.* ## Completes monthly safety Family Home Program walk-throughs in partnership with facilities.##

** Participates in presentations and committees*** ## Develops training and meeting materials.* ## May assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of formal workshop training programs for Family Home Program Staff.* ## Acts as a program representative on designated committees.* ## Provides presentations on staffing/scheduling and model as needed.* ## Attends Family Home Trainings to stay abreast to all areas of Program.##

** Provides Staffing Coordination and Scheduling*** ## Develops monthly scheduling template for Family Home Program.* ## Collects and enters staffing pattern data.* ## Provides daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to Program Leadership.* ## Monitors scheduling trends for adherence to program guidelines and quality standards.* ## May replace assigned staff when necessary for illness, vacation, holiday, or emergencies.* ## Collaborates with Human Resources to develop staffing and workforce practices to include ongoing advancement of technology in Family Home Scheduling.##

** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:*** ## Knowledge of Family Home Program Administrative oversight systems.* ## Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.* ## Ability to work independently to produce expected outcomes.* ## Ability to develop and generate data reports.* ## Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care.* ## Ability to work effectively with youth, families, staff, and support agencies. Ability to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
* ## Takes responsibility for personal and professional development.* ## Independent decision-making skills and competencies to work in crisis situations.* ## Knowledge of recognized interventions including risk assessment and crisis intervention to address treatment needs.* ## Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and with external contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
* ## Knowledge of Boys Town model.* ## Ability to quickly make decisions in sensitive and sometimes critical areas and present decisions to appropriate individuals. Ability to adapt responses to situations while maintaining procedural and regulatory integrity.* ## Ability to partner and coordinate with multiple stakeholders in the organization.## ##

* REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*** ## Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.* ## Minimum 1 year of experience with at-risk youth and families required.* ## Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.* ## Pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check required.* ## Provides own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job required.* ## Meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws required.
* ## Available to Family Teaching staff on a 24/7 basis required.* ## Demonstrate to criteria while maintaining current in CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required.## ##

* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*** ## Master's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.* ##
