Summary

As a Service Coordinator at DP Management LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting the Notre Dame Housing Team and Residents by maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency. This position is essential for ensuring that our property is well-managed and that our clients receive the best possible experience.

Responsibilities Resident Assessment & Case Management
  • Conduct initial and periodic resident needs assessments to identify supportive service needs and barriers to self-sufficiency or independent living.
  • Develop individualized service plans and document resident goals, referrals, outcomes, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain confidential resident files and records in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy regulations.
Community Partnerships
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and social service partners.
  • Coordinate onsite service delivery through community providers and volunteers.
  • Facilitate referrals and monitor service outcomes to ensure resident needs are being met.
Resident Programming
  • Plan, organize, and implement educational, health, wellness, financial literacy, employment, and community-building programs.
  • Coordinate resident events that encourage community engagement and improve quality of life.
  • Promote participation in available resident services and programs.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of resident contacts, assessments, referrals, services provided, and program participation.
  • Prepare reports required by ownership, management, funding agencies, and regulatory entities.
  • Support compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development, HOME, or other affordable housing program requirements, as applicable.
  • Participate in audits, monitoring reviews, and compliance inspections.
Crisis Intervention & Advocacy
  • Identify residents experiencing crisis situations and connect them with appropriate emergency services and resources.
  • Assist residents in accessing healthcare, mental health services, food assistance, transportation, and other community-based supports.
  • Advocate on behalf of residents while encouraging self-sufficiency and resident empowerment.
Collaboration with Property Management
  • Work collaboratively with property management staff while maintaining the appropriate separation between property management and resident services functions.
  • Participate in resident retention initiatives and efforts to promote housing stability.
  • Attend staff meetings and provide updates regarding resident service activities.
  • Promote Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity principles.
  • Assist residents in identifying and obtaining reasonable accommodations and modifications when appropriate.
  • Ensure programs and services are accessible to all residents.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in social services, affordable housing, community outreach, case management, senior services, or resident services preferred.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC regulations and property operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources, entitlement programs, and supportive services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with case management software and data tracking systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering positive relationships with residents, staff, and community partners.
Certifications (not required but a plus)
  • Affordable Housing Compliance Certifications highly preferred.
  • Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO)
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
  • Tax Credit Specialist (TCS).
