Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students.

Pay
: starting at $18/hour

What you will do: As a Cook, you will ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared for the youth and staff on-site, help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area, and act as a team player among the kitchen staff. The Cook works as a staff member of the Food Service Team. This position reports to the Food Services Manager/Supervisor and supervises Food Service employees when required.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test
  • Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Schedule: 6 am
-230pm:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Off Saturdays and Mondays. Sometimes will be scheduled for Holidays.
