At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of developers. We’re seeking a Talend Engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries.
Core Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend for transformation and aggregation.
- Build and optimize SQL queries and data models in Oracle.
- Deploy data pipelines, infrastructure and artifacts as code; incorporate CI/CD and test-driven practices.
- Troubleshoot and provide production support for data load, transformation and translation issues.
- Write unit tests for transformations and aggregations and participate in peer code reviews.
- Translate BI and reporting requirements into database and reporting designs.
- Estimate work, communicate technical status to stakeholders.
- Minimum BTech/B.E. in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ year’s of hands‑on experience in Talend or an ETL Tool.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Relational Database like Oracle.
- Extensive SQL expertise and experience writing complex queries for analytics workloads.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and platforms.
- Linux knowledge and scripting experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with developing data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of large datasets
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms and services.
- Experience in providing Production support
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
