Java Developer Candidate Profile
Java Developer with 2+ to 3-5 years of experience.
- Hungry, humble, and smart.
- Able to work independently, dig into requirements, and ask questions.
- Mainframe background with COBOL knowledge is a huge plus (though not required).
The role is part of a split team structure: one team is focused solely on modernization, while another team remains with some modernization tasks that require Java. Responsibilities include taking a current process and rewriting it in Batch Java, as well as developing a new application that mirrors an existing one with additional functionality using batch programming that impacts billing.
Requirements- IntelliJ
- Batch Java
- Agile Java
- Vue (nice to have)
- AWS (nice to have)
Two interview rounds.
