Data Reporting Developer II

Data Reporting Developer will be responsible for providing and validating data feeds on a daily basis related to our reporting processes. This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% remote/on‑site work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

• Develop data reports and applications
• Vet and validate the work of other data reporting developers to ensure data integrity
• Interact with business partners outside the group and maintain good relationships with them
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and discussions by listening, asking questions, and collaborating
• Identify slow processes and potential issues with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and make suggestions for improvement

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, business analytics, MIS, mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with database manipulation software and/or software application development (ex. .NET, SQL, Python, etc.)
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL
• At least one year of related work experience

• Someone who maintains and creates clear and accurate documentation for software applications and processes
• Someone experienced with Power BI, Azure, or ETL
• Someone with strong problem‑solving skills
• Someone with excellent oral and written communication
