Our Connected Aviation – Air Traffic Solutions – Software Engineering Department (ATS-SED) seeks an experienced Software Engineer to develop and support global Air Traffic Control Systems.
What You Will Do:- Develop and maintain software packaged into our ATMS products.
- Maintain documentation and work instructions needed to meet ATS SED’s high‑maturity software engineering standards and processes.
- Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
- Collaborate with an integrated engineering team and communicate regularly with engineering peers, program management, and external stakeholders.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing, integrating, testing, and validating software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Proficiency with the complete software development lifecycle using Java or C/C++.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging frameworks.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket).
- Willingness to learn or familiarity with Ada.
- Experience in software testing or debugging source code.
Onsite (primarily on‑site work).
Salary & Compensation:USD 86,800 – 165,200 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
