- Mid-Level / Senior Mid-Level / Senior Level | $70,000 - $112,000 | Omaha, NE | Secret / Top Secret Clearance Required Build and advance secure, mission-critical software supporting Department of Defense systems. - What You'll Do
* Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java-based full stack web applications supporting mission-critical DoD systems.
* Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while building reliable Java-based backend services and application logic.
* Integrate applications with secure and classified DoD infrastructure, databases, and enterprise systems to ensure reliable data flow and system interoperability.
* Develop and maintain backend database functionality with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and data integrity.
* Apply secure software development practices and DoD cybersecurity requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Use tools such as Fortify and Sonar Qube to identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities and code quality issues.
* Build, maintain, and improve Git Lab CI/CD pipelines supporting automated and secure software delivery.
* Deploy and support Java applications within Web Logic environments and manage application artifacts through Nexus Repository.
* Participate in software testing, debugging, integration, and regression activities to ensure reliable mission software.
* Develop and maintain automated UI and regression testing using Selenium.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, Dev Sec Ops , and program teams to translate mission requirements into secure and maintainable software solutions.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation covering system architecture, workflows, configuration, development processes, and audit-traceable software activities.
* Senior-level engineers will take technical ownership of development efforts, lead secure coding and code review activities, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance to the broader development team.
* Senior-level engineers will also help identify and implement improvements to development processes, CI/CD automation, software architecture, and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
* Support continuous improvement of secure software development practices within classified environments.

Required Qualifications Mid-Level Developer
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-9 years of relevant professional software development experience.
* Active Secret or Interim Top Secret security clearance required.
* Hands-on full stack development experience using:
* Java
* Java Script  
* HTML
* CSS
* Experience building, deploying, and maintaining web applications.
* Experience developing software in DoD, government, or other secure/classified environments.
* Experience with secure coding practices and software security tools such as Fortify and Sonar Qube.
* Experience with Git Lab CI/CD, Web Logic, and Nexus Repository.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Helm/Helm Charts.
* Strong debugging, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Senior Developer
