Transportation Manager, Dispatcher
Responsible for managing all aspects of student transportation routing to and from assigned schools and other curriculum related activities. Coordinates with district personnel to determine eligibility for transportation, makes route, bus and driver assignments and coordinates with all applicable parties on routing particulars for each assigned student. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of all forms, directives and correspondence related to the transportation of assigned students.
The routing specialist must be qualified and available to drive a student transportation vehicle as required. Duty hours are typically 7:30am - 4:30pm but may be adjusted based on the need of the department. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
