Truck Driver - Local Class A - Penske Logistics

Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $66,248 annually
• $3,500 retention bonus

• Local, home daily

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 2 stops per route

• 10:45 pm dispatch
• 5 day schedule
• Average 35 to 40 hours per week
• Home daily

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required for compliance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must accept responsibility for own safety and that of others

• Must be able to see and hear. Vision includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms. Must lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) routinely and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area
