As an Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you will operate Gatik vehicles to ensure on‑time in‑route deliveries of dry and refrigerated cargo. You’ll collect the data needed by our engineering teams to improve our autonomous technology, while meeting customers’ delivery needs.

This role is onsite in Omaha, NE.

• Ensure safe, reliable operation of class 3‑7 box truck delivery vehicles in manual mode, protecting other drivers, operators, the public, and the vehicle.
• Drive the vehicles on assigned routes to gather data that supports future autonomous operations.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, demonstrating excellent customer service orientation.
• Ensure vehicles arrive at pickup and drop‑off locations on time and that the integrity of goods is maintained.
• Assist with loading and unloading of customer goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, dollies, lift gates, and hand‑holding, where applicable.
• Update the dispatch team on shift and route status.
• Perform daily routine checks, monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, hose connections, and other safety‑related maintenance.
• Handle ad‑hoc projects such as new location deliveries, equipment testing, or installation.
• Collaborate with teams to follow collection and drop‑off procedures on each journey.
• Learn and adhere to company SOPs and ensure compliance with safe‑operations standards.

• Valid CDL with 3+ years of driving experience (non‑CDL candidates are also encouraged to apply).
• Clean driving record and successful background and drug screenings.
• Comfortable operating 26‑30 ft. box trucks, with or without refrigerated units.
• Demonstrates initiative, proactivity, a strong focus on detail and safety.
• Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively, thriving in independent work settings.
• Tech‑savvy and adaptable to varied shift schedules, including evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
