Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an organization within Amazon focused on ensuring customer deliveries in the most remote areas are successful, combining operations and support teams to continually innovate the last mile delivery process.

We are seeking self‑motivated Driver Trainers to instruct and mentor Delivery Associates in our communities, helping them develop safe practices and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in‑station classes and drive‑along sessions.
  • Partner with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training activities.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of processes, expectations, and training requirements for all drivers across various driver programs.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on training completion, compliance, safety, and maintenance duties.
  • Execute training to the standard, ensuring content and experience complement safety, quality, and legal procedures.
  • Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards, including vehicle inspection reports, hours of service, trip planning, and safe road driving practices.
  • Track and monitor performance, including on‑road ride‑behind observations, to measure quality, adherence to standards, and identify re‑training and process improvement opportunities.
  • Drive, maneuver, and load/unload a truck as scheduled using approved equipment (dolly, etc.) with or without accommodation.
  • Perform physical duties such as lifting up to 49 pounds, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Operate and navigate vehicles weighing 26,000 pounds or less.
  • Use GPS and other tools effectively.
  • Stay connected to the operation by participating in on‑road processes regularly.
  • Serve as a peer trainer as needed to support the business.
  • Motivate, coach, and provide feedback to Delivery Associates during training.
  • Travel to multiple sites within 50 miles of the home station and have reliable transportation.
  • Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible schedule/shift/ work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and performing physical duties throughout a 12‑hour shift.
  • Valid and active driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File (DQF).
  • 21 years of age or older, eligible to drive in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). to operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and communicate effectively.
  • Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, and/or prior Amazon experience.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across various organizational levels.
  • History of meeting or exceeding departmental goals.
  • Experience leading teams and providing direction to members using independent judgment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering training to both individuals and groups.
  • 2+ years of professional driving experience.
  • Knowledge of instructional theories such as adult learning, on‑the‑job learning, and knowledge management.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Location:
