Job Summary
The Logistics Specialist (LS) is responsible for loading, unloading, and staging tires for warehouse storage and customer deliveries. The LS maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships while following Tire Hub safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Pack, count, label, and palletize customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system.
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.
- Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Maintain vehicles, conduct pre/post‑trip inspections, and report any defects or operational issues.
- Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly and ensure compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and complete tasks assigned by the supervisor or leadership.
- Optimize work processes, manage ambiguity, drive results, collaborate with others, and communicate effectively.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving history (or 2 years with a learner’s permit does not qualify).
- Must be 19 years old or older.
- Full forklift certification.
- Knowledge of Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capability to work up to 35 feet above ground level and up to 8 hours per day operating a forklift.
- Comfortable driving on public roads and delivery to customer locations following traffic rules and regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team and adapt to changing task allocations.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurate and efficient loading, unloading, and placement of items.
- Understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them.
- Familiarity with forklift safety and certification requirements.
Lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance; standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing regularly; operating forklifts and other equipment in non‑climate‑controlled settings; wearing protective gear when handling hazardous materials; extended day, evening, and weekend work, including possible short notice Saturdays; driving during night or inclement weather may be required.
