Regional Lane​/CDL Class A Driver

Position Description

Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver – Missouri Valley, IA (primary location; additional work locations in Sioux City, Omaha, Council Bluffs).

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.63 per mile (average 1,625 miles per week)
• No Touch Stops Pay: $28.00 per stop (average 6 stops per week)
• Touch Stops Pay: $67.00 per stop (average 5 stops per week)
• Per Diem Pay: $65.00 per night (3‑4 nights per week)
• Sleeper Premium: $52.50 per night

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 – paid $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days.

• Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 6:30 AM Dispatch

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check (including drug and alcohol verification for last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT Physical
• Pass a Ryder Road Test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months within last 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
