Class A CDL Driver

Class A CDL Driver - $30-34/hr

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Flatbed Driver to join our team. This role entails local driving responsibilities with hands-on loading and unloading duties. In addition to operating flatbed trucks, drivers will regularly utilize skid steers and forklifts to move materials, equipment, and inventory throughout the yard and job sites. The ideal candidate is comfortable behind the wheel, experienced with material handling equipment, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport materials and equipment using flatbed trucks while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
• Operate forklifts and skid steers to move materials, equipment, and inventory throughout the yard and job sites.
• Assist with organizing and staging materials for deliveries and pickups.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle and equipment inspections.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Proven experience operating Class A commercial vehicles.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks and related equipment.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo using proper load securement practices.
• Experience operating forklifts and skid steers in a yard environment.

• Experience operating heavy equipment in addition to commercial trucks.
• Familiarity with various trailer types and load configurations.
• Experience working in construction, manufacturing, equipment rental, steel, lumber, or industrial material environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic equipment maintenance needs.

This is a field-based position involving the operation of Class A flatbed trucks, forklifts, and skid steers. Drivers will spend time both on the road and in the yard, loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials and equipment.
