** This is an IN-OFFICE position located in OMAHA, NEBRASKA**

We are looking for a full-time Logistics Supervisor to add to our growing team. This role ensures the seamless execution of on-time, reliable, and safe delivery of hazmat products. The Logistics Supervisor is very important to both the success of our drivers and our commitment to customers.

Responsibilities:

Transportation Coordination:

  • Create driver delivery schedules to meet customer demands. Assign and pre-plan loads to drivers according to appointment times and driver availability to prevent supply interruptions
  • Work in an IT-enabled environment to optimize schedules and minimize supply chain cost
  • Respond to frequent real-time delivery changes driven by supply chain events. Collaborate and communicate closely with drivers, terminals, and the larger operations team to problem solve as events arise
  • Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation. Ensure visibility for other logistics team members

Customer Service and Building Relationships

  • Maintain key client relationships on truck deliveries requests
  • Communicate professionally and proactively with customers on driver status or interruptions in service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bulk logistics or supply chain management
  • Previous experience using analytics or transportation management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external groups
  • Self-motivated; acts with accountability to drive results and takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of ownership, energy and positive attitude
  • Able to work in a high call volume environment while effectively multi-tasking and following up on action items to ensure positive outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm IN OFFICE
