Job Summary
The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products at the Company Kitchen, 3200 South 60th Street, Omaha, NE 68106. This full‑time position requires adherence to safety standards, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow.
Key Details- Location: Company Kitchen, 3200 South 60th Street, Omaha, NE 68106
- Schedule: Full time, Sunday through Thursday, hours may vary. Details provided during interview.
- Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
- Referral Bonus: Internal employee referral bonus available
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, or shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Place materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Use computer to enter records.
- Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Drive vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
- Show personal commitment to safety for yourself and others.
- Abide by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- The use of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steam tables.
- The use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards (e.g., HACCP) is an advantage.
