Job Description
Our Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment process to ensure that we are properly filling orders for customer accounts and that all items ordered are received. The ideal leader will have a focus on employee retention and development, safety, and be customer‑driven. This is a very hands‑on position with a high level of presence on the warehouse floor (approx.
80%) and requires working in a fast‑paced environment with scheduling flexibility.
- Assist in overseeing warehouse duties in receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Assist route planning and system entry with Distribution Manager.
- Coordinate and enforce operational/personnel policies and procedures.
- Practice controls of inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems.
- Assist in managing the physical condition of the warehouse through regular cleaning and implementation of new layout designs.
- Inspect equipment; issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
- Manage warehouse staff by assisting the recruitment process, including selection, orientation, and training.
- Coach staff on job results through positive counseling; administer discipline and monitor job performance.
- Maintain payroll/timecard data and approve.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or comparable experience.
- 3+ years of previous management experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and prior WMS experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Must be flexible to work multiple shifts.
$60–70k annual salary, depending on experience.
