Summary / Primary PurposeRepresent The Salvation Army by managing the maintenance of all Omaha North Corps properties and vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for maintenance of all Omaha North Corps properties, including maintenance and repairs as well as coordinating maintenance by other vendors/service providers.
- Maintenance and oversight of Omaha North Corps vehicle: work with administration to ensure all vehicles are kept safe and efficient, including regular maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Work with vendors/service providers to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are on hand and available when necessary.
- Coordinated pickup of donations and supplies in collaboration with leadership.
- Perform monthly inventory and ordering.
- Coordinate and oversee volunteers assisting with building maintenance activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with organizational standards.
- Stocking supplies at the corps.
- Responsible for Christmas Warehouse set‑up and tear‑down (food box build and fill, toy transfer, curtain set‑up and tear‑down).
- Pick up and deliver equipment for different events in the Omaha North Corps (kettle stands, collection boxes, mail, etc.).
- Coordinate setup and teardown of Corps rental spaces to ensure facilities are prepared, maintained, and restored according to organizational guidelines.
This position is supervised by the General Manager and an assigned coordinator.
Each driver must perform their responsibilities within established policies and guidelines.
Education and/or Experience- A high school degree or GED is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with the public is desired.
- Pass background and driving record check.
Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire.

Physical RequirementsEmployee may often be required to engage in rigorous activities. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying objects (50 lbs).
Working ConditionsThe work environment is a business office setting with office equipment, light traffic, and moderate noise levels.
