Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Schedule:

Full Time (Monday to Friday), 7:00AM – 3:30PM

Location:

La Vista, NE
Pay: $20.00 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all inventory control activities within the assigned branch
  • Develop mastery of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and serve as the Branch Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Maintain inventory integrity and ensure branch compliance with Inventory Status Metrics
  • Analyze Inventory Status and WMS results to identify process deficiencies and training opportunities; develop corrective plans with Branch Manager and Warehouse Supervisor
  • Oversee accuracy of inbound receipts and outbound shipments
  • Plan and conduct cycle counts—including task‑driven, random, and title‑requested counts—while researching and resolving variances
  • Independently identify root causes of variances and collaborate with Branch Management to prevent recurrence
  • Execute Inventory Control Alerts (ICA’s) accurately and on time
  • Oversee timely shipments of branch transfers
  • Follow corporate processes for donations, damages and destructions
  • Manage Monitor Process (if applicable) to ensure accurate data and completion of required monitors by fair type and phase
  • Ensure line sets—Mainline Schematic Titles, Supplemental Titles, marketing materials and signage, schematic changes—are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Monitor and manage On‑Sale Date titles to ensure timely release
  • Proactively identify potential inventory shortages and communicate them to the Branch Manager
  • Support regional methods for fulfilling backordered titles
  • Execute physical inventory activities according to documented procedures
  • Utilize inventory for Warehouse Sale Events as directed
  • Perform additional duties requested by Inventory Control Supervisor, Branch Managers or Corporate Leaders
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, promotion, distribution, inventory, customer lists, and financial reports
  • Communicate effectively with branch, regional and corporate leaders
  • Identify key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data and provide recommended solutions
  • Serve as a formal and informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferable: two years of inventory experience at a distribution company or in an inventory‑related position with specialized job training
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and detail orientation with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Physical ability to lift 50lb unassisted, repetitively
  • Previous experience or certification in power equipment operation preferred; certification on all company equipment required
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced distribution center environment
  • Proficiency with computer spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word) required
  • Familiarity with computerized inventory location systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of inventory scanner systems preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required
