Lead Warehouse Associate

Position:
Full-Time, Seasonal

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Hourly Rate: $19.00

• Assist with new-hire orientation and train associates on all Product Coordinator – Level I, II, and III functions.
• Direct a small team of associates in one or more functional areas of the facility under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor or branch manager.
• Assist the warehouse supervisor to train, coach, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team.
• Serve as designated branch trainer for all new processes and procedures.
• Assist in planning and presenting branch or departmental daily start‑up meetings.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for Labor Data Collection and assist in ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Assist in daily wave production planning and lead special projects as needed.
• Support continuous process improvement for all warehouse functions.
• Perform basic supervisory tasks (excluding formal performance management) when the warehouse supervisor is absent.
• Monitor warehouse supplies and equipment and notify when reorders are necessary.
• Ensure safe use of equipment, report unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.
• Use proper lifting, packing, handling techniques, climb ladders and push/pull display cases.
• Accurately and timely complete Labor Data Collection Cards to company standards.
• Operate motorized pallet jacks upon successful completion of the SBF power equipment training program.
• Maintain a courteous and positive relationship with all coworkers and customers.
• Comply with drug‑ and alcohol‑free policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Basic product scanner proficiency.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; basic math.
• Ability to read English safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Leadership skills to direct other employees.
• Forklift experience, certified, at least 18 years of age – a plus.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

• Lift boxes up to 50 lbs occasionally daily.
• Lift boxes up to 30 lbs to a height of 70” occasionally daily.
• Push wheeled cases weighing over 300 lbs, initial force up to 50 lbs and sustained up to 30 lbs.
• Stand, reach, squat, bend, kneel as necessary.
• Tolerate work in a non‑air conditioned environment.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions accurately.
• Use hands for finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing.
• Vision: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
