Event Attendant​/Lead Event Attendant - Omni Center; Seasonal​/Limited Term

Job Summary

The City of Onalaska is seeking to hire Event Attendants and Lead Event Attendants to perform concessions and event operations. The positions are limited-term, with scheduled hours varying by event, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Work is reviewed by the Event/Recreation Coordinator.

• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and take concession orders from customers.
• Assist in kitchen processes such as preparation, cooking, and serving products.
• Process orders on the cash register and return correct change; follow City cash handling policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer each shift or as directed following established cash handling policies.
• Prepare and provide concession supplies ordered by customers.
• Maintain cleanliness in concession area and surrounding eating areas.
• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with event set‑up and tear‑down.
• Assist with open skate, box office, and pro‑shop.
• Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating willingness to perform other job‑related work as needed or requested.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

• Lead a crew to complete daily customer service tasks.

Wage range: $10.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, budget, and/or position. Flexible scheduling available. No benefits are associated with limited‑term positions.

• For Lead Event Attendants, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
