Part-Time Member Service Representative

Job Summary

Part‑time Member Service Representative at Altra Federal Credit Union, Onalaska, WI.

• Greet members and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account inquiries.
• Process transactions accurately in compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Promote credit union products and services and in‑branch technology.
• Maintain member confidentiality and adhere to security procedures.
• Resolve member questions or concerns promptly and escalated when necessary.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reports.
• Support other branch functions as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in customer service; previous financial experience a plus.
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with members genuinely.
• Detail‑oriented, professional, tech‑savvy; proficient with basic software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Commitment to providing exceptional member service.

Part‑time 20–25 hours per week:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. With post‑training Saturday morning rotation 2‑3 Saturdays per month 7:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

Starting hourly pay of $19.00 ($17.00 base + $2.00 MSR premium). Bilingual Spanish or Hmong pay premium $1.00/hr up to 6% employer‑matched 401(k) and an additional 3% contribution. Two‑week paid sabbaticals every five years, plus four‑week sabbatical at twenty years of service. Paid time off, volunteer time off, paid holidays, birthday off, employee‑only perks and discounts.
