Position Summary
The City of Onalaska is hiring Event Attendants and Lead Event Attendants for limited-term, seasonal positions. Employees in these roles handle concession and event operations and are reviewed by the Event/Recreation Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and take concession orders.
- Assist in kitchen processes such as preparation, cooking, and serving products.
- Process orders on the cash register and return correct change following City cash handling policies.
- Balance cash drawer each shift or as directed.
- Prepare and provide concession supplies ordered by customers.
- Maintain cleanliness in concession area and surrounding eating areas.
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with event set-up and tear-down, open skate, box office, and pro-shop.
- Perform other job-related work as needed.
- Lead Event Attendants: lead a crew to complete daily customer service tasks.
- Minimum age 14.
- Prior cash handling experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

CompensationWage range for these seasonal, limited-term positions is $10.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, budget, and/or position. Flexible scheduling is available. There are no benefits associated with these positions.
