Obesity Medicine opening in Wisconsin Full time Onalaska, WiAn Obesity Medicine Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained) is sought to join an established Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine Clinic within a comprehensive, multidisciplinary weight management program. This opportunity offers the ability to focus on evidence-based obesity care in collaboration with a highly experienced surgical and medical team.

Practice Highlights Participation in an MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric program Comprehensive management of obesity as a chronic disease, including complex medical and psychosocial conditions Active involvement in the longitudinal care of patients who have undergone or are preparing for bariatric surgery Management of patients pursuing non-surgical weight management options Multidisciplinary approach utilizing both surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities

Multidisciplinary Team Includes Bariatric surgeons Obesity Medicine medical leadership Advanced practice clinicians specializing in bariatric surgery and obesity medicine Integrated support team including doctoral-level clinicians, registered dietitians, and registered nurses

Additional Responsibilities Active participation in bariatric committee meetings to support a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care Minimum Criteria Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Current board certification in the physician's primary specialty Board certification in Obesity Medicine If not currently certified in Obesity Medicine, must be actively pursuing certification and complete certification within six months of employment start date
