The School District of Onalaska is seeking substitute sign language interpreters to provide communication access for our students. This role is essential in ensuring that our Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students have equitable access to the classroom environment, social interactions, and school-wide activities.
No nights or weekends, school day only. You choose the hours/days you are available. This is an on-call position for open positions that occur on an infrequent/daily basis throughout the school year.
Qualifications- Certification:
Possession of (or eligibility for) a Wisconsin DPI Sign Language Interpreter License (#0020). - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
