AboutThe Role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Construction Project Manager to partner with our CEO and campus administrators in leading building and grounds projects. This role is ideal for a skilled facilities professional who enjoys managing complex projects, mentoring teams, and ensuring safe, welcoming environments for residents and staff. You’ll oversee construction and remodel projects, capital improvements, and preventative maintenance across our campuses—while also serving as a trainer and mentor for our maintenance leaders and teams.
WhatYou’ll Do Project Leadership
- Lead new construction, remodels, and major grounds projects.
- Manage capital budgets, purchases, and contractors related to building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, flooring, safety systems, etc.).
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and audits across campuses.
- Ensure fire and life safety systems testing, audits, and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for building and grounds operations.
- Develop and schedule training for maintenance and grounds staff.
- Mentor and coach maintenance leaders and team members.
- Assist campus leaders in hiring and onboarding maintenance staff.
- Manage the maintenance on-call schedule.
- Experience and/or education in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or remodeling.
- Degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and structures.
- Experience with project planning, bidding process, budget management and quality inspection.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret regulations related to construction and compliance.
- Experience leading contractors and internal teams through complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills—able to build trust, mentor staff, and collaborate with leaders.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
