• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, education, medical history interview, acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies; develop physician standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues related to donor safety and eligibility.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health/ER.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.
• Provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS) and follow guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Current licensed or certified in the state of assignment:
  Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy (in the state of licensure).
• Complete FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
