Job Title: Fresh Cut Clerk
Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager
Schedule: Thursday–Saturday or Friday–Saturday between 8-6 pm.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters—perfect for daily life, a get‑together or special occasion! Your ability to keep our fresh cut department stocked and ready will keep our guests coming back, knowing they can rely on us for their entertaining needs.
Responsibilities- Maintain Freshness: Maintain appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions; produce, stock, and replenish products as needed.
- Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service to all guests. Assist guests with finding what they're looking for; resolve guest concerns and ensure satisfaction, making things right when service or product issues arise.
- Ensure Cleanliness: Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the department by organizing and sanitizing work areas, shelving, and sales floors as needed.
- Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Ensure all quality standards are met, including maintaining accurate food safety logs and meeting quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
- Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast‑paced environment. - Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and box‑cutter safety.
- Equipment Proficiency: Ability to use equipment such as power jacks, walk‑behind lifts, WAVs, balers, and compactors.

- Stand in place for long periods of time; work in a cooler and walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
- Full range of upper‑body motion to lift product; perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
- Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment.
- Lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly; part‑time associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays; full‑time associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
