Merchandiser, Retail

Alsum Farms & Produce, Inc., a leader in the agricultural sector with a commitment to excellence and sustainability, is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser. This role focuses on enhancing product presentation and optimizing sales and technology effectiveness at retail locations. Merchandisers are vital to our company's retail operations as they help ensure the quality presentation of our diverse range of agricultural products including potatoes, onions, and other fresh produce.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and monitoring effective merchandising strategies that align with our brand's marketing and sales goals.
• Working closely with retail partners to ensure that products are displayed according to company standards.
• Analyzing sales data to identify trends, forecast needs and assist the sales team in achieving their targets.
• Ensuring consistent stock levels, organizing promotional displays, and participating in regional trade shows.
• Educating store staff and consumers about product attributes and cultivation processes to promote sustainability.
• Collaborating with the marketing and supply chain departments to optimize retail execution and feedback.
• Preparing detailed reports on merchandise performance, market conditions, and competition.
