Job Overview
Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat‑Rate) for our growing team. The role focuses on advanced diagnostic and repair for recreational vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs, with a passion for mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems.
Responsibilities- Provide and document complete diagnostic testing and repair or replacement services to customers.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance maintenance.
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
- Keep supervisor apprised of work progress; ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful; applicable work experience is also considered.
- Minimum 1‑year service technician experience or related field preferred.
- RVIA certification helpful but not required.
- Experience with heights and hazards related to electrical and welding equipment.
- Ability to work in environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, wetness.
- Physical requirements:
prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, bending; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices. - Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
