Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat‑Rate) for our growing team. The role focuses on advanced diagnostic and repair for recreational vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs, with a passion for mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems.

• Provide and document complete diagnostic testing and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress; ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful; applicable work experience is also considered.
• Minimum 1‑year service technician experience or related field preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Experience with heights and hazards related to electrical and welding equipment.
• Ability to work in environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, wetness.
• Physical requirements:
  
  prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, bending; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
