Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician.
Responsibilities involve supporting and overseeing repair of Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools. You will maintain plant equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, document repairs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Use hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Manage repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and follow Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.

• 2+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience (optional).
