BRiDGES / MCCASA is hiring a Full-Time Prevention Education Specialist based in Oneida

We're hiring a Full-Time Prevention Education Specialist (35 hrs/week) to help lead our efforts in substance use prevention across Madison County.
In this hybrid role (based in Oneida, NY), you'll deliver evidence-based alcohol and other drug prevention programs in schools and community settings. You'll facilitate trainings, host community forums, and lead outreach efforts to educate and empower people of all ages. This position includes in-person work as needed, along with some evening and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach prevention curriculum in local schools
- Coordinate and facilitate community education programs
- Lead outreach and engagement efforts across the county
- Support program planning and data tracking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required (candidates nearing degree completion are encouraged to apply)
- Master's Degree preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check required
Compensation & Benefits:

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (with a half-hour lunch) Schedule may adjust to align with school hours as needed Occasional evening and weekend work required
