Central Sterile Materials Handler

Oneida Health Hospital is looking for a full-time Materials Handler in its Central Sterile Department. The position would be an 8 hour evening position. This position is responsible for maintaining and distributing a variety of necessary equipment used in patient care, including the disinfection of equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team and understand the importance of hospital equipment cleanliness.


* Hourly range: $16 - $18/hour

What You'll be Great At:

• Processing and maintaining a variety of equipment used in patient care throughout the facility.
• Receiving, issuing, and maintaining inventory supplies through the use of computer software.
• Maintaining Inventories and stocking supplies in all clinical areas of the hospital.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the Central Supply storeroom and Sterile Processing rooms as well as the storage areas in each clinical area.
• Stocking specialty carts with the necessary equipment and supplies.
