Sanitation Manager

Our client has grown into one of the country's largest branded products with over 3500 employees and 12 manufacturing plants throughout the United States. Their portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products are ones you will recognize.

We are searching for a Sanitation Manager for their site in the Syracuse, NY area.

They want a true tenured manager who will be involved with Training, interfacing with the Sanitation contractor, chemicals etc. The operators at the plant do the cleaning so there won't be any direct reports. This is an individual contributor role managing the Sanitation program and collaborating with the other department managers, to be the influencer and continually review for compliance and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with preference for Food Science, Dairy Science or Microbiology or 5-7 years of food plant operational experience with sanitation experience.
• Utilization of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for problem solving.
• Able to collaborate and operate in a cross-functional team environment.
• Leadership aptitude or team leadership/supervisory experience as an influencer Advanced Computer Skill and knowledge (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with regulatory, third party, and customer audits.
