Shifts:

Evening 2pm – 10pm, Every Other Weekend, Holidays per Unit Needs

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in Oneida, NY. This role involves providing high-quality care to residents in a Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a team while delivering comprehensive care to residents.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Provide high-quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' health status and care provided, paying keen attention to detail.
• Create and maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols and sanitation standards.
• Recognize signs and symptoms of illness in residents and promptly report them to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with registered nurses, conveying any concerns or changes in residents' conditions.
• Report instances of abuse, mistreatment, or neglect to appropriate authorities in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Show compassion and dignity when caring for dying residents, ensuring their comfort and attending to their personal needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• New York Certified Nursing Assistant (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years' CNA experience
