Seven Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in the Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility in Oneida, NY. This role will see you working various shifts and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care for residents. Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Provide compassionate care and treatment to residents with a customer service attitude
• Collaborate effectively with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), including Physicians, RNs, UMs, CNAs, and Ward Clerks
• Use sound nursing judgment to evaluate and observe changes in resident conditions
• Communicate quickly and clearly with RNs and Physicians regarding changes in resident situations
• Delegate assignments and observe support staff to ensure appropriate care is provided according to treatment plans
• Order medications and supplies, prepare equipment, and assist with wound care as needed
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents, ensuring dining areas and personal hygiene spaces are hygienic
• Schedule resident appointments and notify families about appointments and transportation
• Input orders into the computer system, notify the pharmacy, and maintain accurate record-keeping
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to controlled substances and documentation
• Report building emergencies or concerns promptly and accurately
• Report incidents regarding suspected abuse, neglect, mistreatment, and exploitation

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Licensed Practical Nurse course of study
• New York LPN License
• BLS/CPR preferred
• At least 2 years of LPN experience
