Associate Licensing Specialist

As an Associate Licensing Specialist, you'll help make sure our newest team members are ready to go from day one! You'll be the go-to person for fingerprinting and credential requests, preparing badges and name plates, and supporting the behind-the-scenes details that keep onboarding running smoothly.
Working closely with our Licensing and Onboarding teams, you'll interact with team members across multiple businesses while keeping everything organized, accurate, and on schedule. - Accurately and effectively performs electronic fingerprinting for both internal hires and public appointments.
- Stays up to date on all required Idemia training to ensure no disruption.
- Accurately prepares and releases all new & replacement team member badges & name plates.
- Maintains accurate records of badges and nameplates via excel spreadsheet.
- Reviews all requests and determines the request forms that will need to be sent to payroll for payment processing.
- Maintains equipment to ensure all are in clean working order.
- Inventory control. Works closely with the L&O Manager to ensure supply/inventory is adequate.
- Assists with the release of team member credentials to the Onboarding team after receiving approval from the Gaming Commission.
- Accurately inputs Licensing Data into system and maintains complete files to ensure proper team member licensure.
- Effectively and accurately completes general data entry in the Licensing and Processing database.
- Performs drug testing.
- Maintain the drug test log and processing spreadsheet to ensure information is updated timely.
- Assist with taking photos for hires during processing and capturing signatures.
- Uploading Licensing documents and maintain the electronic files.
- Ensure drug tests are mailed out timely each day.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure department if functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to organizational and department specific confidentiality, policies and standards.
- Providing support to the Licensing Specialist II and Licensing and Onboarding Manager with reporting to the NYS Gaming Commission, Oneida Nation Gaming Commission and the State Police.
- Will work on special projects at the direction of the Licensing and Onboarding Manager.
- Train to learn the Licensing Specialist II role to allow for coverage as/when needed. This will include processing of hires. Allowing growth within the Licensing function.

To be successful as an Associate Licensing Specialist; you'll need:
- Must have an Associate's Degree or Certificate in business or related field.
- This role requires successful completion of the vetting process through Idemia to be certified to fingerprint. To be considered and maintain employment in this role, this certification will need to take place within 60 days of date of hire.
- Must possess working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office. Must be able to create, manipulate and maintain excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at one time.
- Must possess a pleasant demeanor with a willingness and ability to communicate with the public.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
