Teams Teacher

Reports To:

Principal and Assistant Principal

Job Goal:
To lead students toward their potential for intellectual, emotional, psychological, and physical growth and maturation through provision of appropriate guidance and learning experiences. To provide the designated course of study, appropriate materials and resources to effectively teach children to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills and Physical Abilities:

• The teacher is regularly required to speak, listen walk, stand, sit, use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display.
• The teacher may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, ability to focus, and peripheral vision.
• Effective interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration with a wide variety of people and groups, for the purpose of maximizing student achievement.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum and programming specific to the needs of students at the designated grade level(s) and in the designated content area(s)/subject(s).
• Ability to use technology to communicate, to plan and provide instruction, to facilitate student learning, to manage data, and to produce/submit required reports, correspondence, and/or financial information.
• Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.
