Charge Nurse (RN) – TLC Nursing Center

Join our compassionate team at TLC Nursing Center located at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents and are seeking an experienced, compassionate Charge Nurse to oversee the nursing staff and ensure delivery of exceptional care.

• Supervise and direct nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
• Assess resident needs, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents for adverse reactions, and educate patients on medication management.
• Oversee resident assessments—including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition—and initiate appropriate interventions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facility policies, and nursing standards of practice, including documentation, infection control, and resident rights.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
