Job Overview

Join our compassionate team at TLC Nursing Center as a Charge Nurse (RN). The facility is located at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta and is dedicated to providing high‑quality care and support to our residents. As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.

• Supervise and direct nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
• Assess resident needs, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents for adverse reactions, and provide education on medication management and side effects.
• Oversee resident assessments, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facility policies, and nursing standards of practice, including documentation, infection control, and resident rights.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
