This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

The PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) is a combined Phase I and Phase II recovery unit with a total of 8 beds. Typical surgeries in this unit include General, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, and GYN. The patient population primarily consists of adults, with pediatric patients seen monthly for ENT surgery blocks.

The unit operates from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

• Responsible for the assessment and monitoring of patients in recovery from anesthesia.
• Coordinate care and ensure safety for patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of patients from Phase I to Phase II recovery.
• Assist in managing sedation recovery and ensure adherence to protocols.

• Active RN license required.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience in a PACU or similar recovery unit is preferred.
