Senior Accountant, Richardson

Senior Accountant position with a large, publicly traded organization in Richardson. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant that is ready to take the next step in their career by leading projects and supervising staff. The salary range for this position is 90K-95K, plus performance bonus and offers 2 days work from home.

• Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries
• Prepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correct
• Partner with both internal and external auditors
• Work with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessary
• Ensure that SOX and GAAP compliance is met and maintained
• Prepare financial reporting packages for upper-level management
• Complete various ad-hoc projects when necessary
• Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• 4+ years of working experience within public accounting or large corporate environment
• Advanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experience
• Proficient verbal and written communication
