Location: Decatur, Illinois (Hybrid)

Hourly Rate: $50 + on a W2 basis - negotiable depending on level of experience

We are seeking experienced Accounting Consultants to join our team on a hybrid basis in Decatur, Illinois. This role will require a mix of remote work and on-site presence, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on account reconciliation, clean up, process documentation, and related responsibilities.

• Perform account reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
• Conduct thorough account clean-ups, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Document and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with client teams to identify and implement best practices.
• Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Support various accounting projects as needed, providing expertise and insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation, clean up, and process documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to clients and team members.
• Flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, with the ability to be on-site in Decatur, Illinois, as required (travel expenses reimbursed for those who are not local to Decatur).
