• Prepare and post journal entries related to manufacturing activities, inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and overhead.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with a focus on manufacturing-related balances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions including raw materials, WIP (work-in-process), and finished goods.
• Investigate variances in material usage, labor, and overhead; collaborate with production teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in maintaining product standard costs and BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy.
• Perform cycle count audits and support physical inventory activities.
• Prepare schedules and reports for manufacturing performance metrics.
• Analyze spending trends, production variances, and plant performance data.
• Assist with cost modeling, margin analysis, and manufacturing KPI reporting.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
